Journey Classes
God goes before us on our JOURNEY…to show us the places we should go.” (Deut. 1:33)
Sunday nights
Being a disciple of Jesus means following Him in the great adventure of life. Regardless of where you are in the Journey to Christian maturity, there is a small group experience designed to help you take the next step and discover new depths of Jesus and His love. Journey classes are seasonal, focused opportunities to help you develop the character of Christ and live your daily life according to His plan. These classes are offered primarily on Sunday nights and last anywhere from 6-12 weeks. For more information, call or email Susan Ahart. ; 886-4461

Me, Myself & Lies: A Thought Closet Makeover
Words are powerful. Especially words women speak to themselves. All too often, what they say to themselves when they lie in bed at night or look in the mirror in the morning is not even close to the words God wants them to speak to their souls. What we think about often has a ripple effect on nearly every area of our lives. This Bible study encourages women to clean out the junk in their thoughts and replace these hidden thoughts and failures with positive truths from God’s Word. (7 sessions, beginning Feb. 7, 5:30-7:00) Led by: Jeri Ginn
(Cost: $11.95 for participant book)
FOR MEN
The Man I Want To Be: Finding Your Way to a Life that Counts
In their youth, most men dream of being a star college quarterback or playing in the NFL. Neal Jeffrey lived that dream; he was the man that others wanted to be. Neal made his life truly count, however, as the associate pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas. Join together with other men as this popular Bible teacher explores the importance of being: a man who believes, a man who is brave, a man who behaves and more. (6 sessions, beginning Feb. 7, 5:30-7:00) Led by: Mark Strickland
(Cost: $8.95 for participant book)

Take It to the Limit
A six-part message for those whose schedules are too full and whose checking accounts are too empty. Our culture encourages us to live as if we have no limits. We do as much as we can, spend as much as we can and acquire as much as we can. Life on the edge means life with no margin. Life without margin is a recipe for personal disaster. Together, we will explore God*s answer to our self-destructive propensity to live as if we have no limits. (Beginning Feb. 7, 6:00-7:00) Led by: Steve Custer
(No cost or registration required; will meet in the Sanctuary.)
