]]> Trunk or Treat http://www.edgewoodbaptistchurch.org/childrens-events-and-news/trunk-or-treat/ http://www.edgewoodbaptistchurch.org/childrens-events-and-news/trunk-or-treat/ Fri, 02 Oct 2009 11:07:18 UTC On Saturday, October 31, Edgewood will host "Trunk or Treat" from 4pm to 6pm in the parking lot at the church.  Come out and join us for food, fun, and games.  We invite all children from birth to 6th grade to participate in the Costume Contest.  No scary costumes!!  This year, we are also "putting on the dog" as we include a Friendly Pet Costume Contest for friendly pets on leashes or in pet carriers.  All costume entries must be registered by 4:30pm during Trunk or Treat and judging will take place at 4:45pm with winners announced at 5pm. Tuesday, August 4, marks the end of this summer's Terrific Tuesdays with swimming fun.

As the new school year kicks off, some children will have the opportunity to take the next step on their journey with Christ as Edgewood celebrates Move Up Day on Sunday, August 9. 

There will be a surprise guest in the house for children's church on Sunday, August 16 and the children will celebrate August Birthdays on Sunday, August 30.

Also, parents must go online to www.crossingscamps.org to complete the medical release form and POI form for each child attending camp.  Please bring a copy of the medical release form to the meeting on Sunday.

The website for the camp is online at www.crossingscamps.org and parents must go online and complete the medical release form and the POI form.  After completing the medical release form, please make a copy and bring it to the church office to be notarized and turned in.  ALL children must have completed medical release forms online and turned in at the church office in order to attend camp.

We want to encourage everyone to come and join us for a special time at this annual event.

Please feel free to invite your friends and neighbors and join in.  We will study, make crafts, enjoy snacks, sing and celebrate together.
