"Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God." - Titus 2:3-5 (NIV)
The Women's Ministry is an exciting, organized ministry for women of all ages and all walks of life. At Edgewood, we understand that today's world can be a hectic place for Christian women. Our women's ministry is a Bible-based group that offers relevant direction, friendly support, and encouraging information for women in all types of situations. We emphasize women ministering to women through fellowship, Bible study, ministry activities and special events.
Our mission is to reach all women with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their walk with the Lord. We seek to have a positive influence in our homes, our neighborhoods, our communities, and in the world by living according to God's Plan for each one of us. We focus on learning and applying the Word of God as we fulfill our roles in our daily lives.
