I am setting in my office before Wednesday night service trying to decide which announcements to make.  We have an overwhelming amount of activity at our church spanning the next 6 weeks.  I am trying to make sure that the time spent enlisting, informing, and encouraging the ministries of our church does not exceed the time spent in prayer and Bible study -- not an easy task.  Prison ministry, Real Encounter, Faith in Action Sunday, AWANA training, Sunday school training, et al.  -- We have a lot going on.

As I review I couldn't help but think how you must feel.  Trying to work, take care of your family, and find time to serve.  I believe everyone has a place to serve and a roll to fill, but please know YOU CANNOT DO EVERYTHING!  DON'T TRY!  If you are doing nothing in the church... find a spot.  If you are doing everything... slow down... your busyness will cause you to miss out on the best that God has for you!
