The Lydia Sunday School Class
Following in the footsteps of Lydia - a first century businesswoman and fervent follower of Christ.
Welcome to the webpage for the Lydia Sunday School Class at Edgewood. Our class is designed for women in their 30's, 40's, and 50's.
We meet together each Sunday morning to study materials designed to enhance our knowledge and understanding of the Holy Bible and how it applies to our lives today. We spend our time together sharing in prayer requests, praise reports, study, fellowship, and worship to honor God and all He has done and is doing in our lives and the lives of others.
We come from all walks of life and all types of situations. Outside of class, we are Christians who are wives, mothers, daughters, nurses, teachers, secretaries, homemakers, caregivers, professionals, factory workers, etc. We are the same ladies who are also involved in various other ministries at Edgewood Baptist Church. In our class, you will find ladies who are prayer warriors, greeters, choir members, child care workers, food preparers, committee members, and Baptistry helpers—just to name a few. We publish a monthly newsletter and participate in the church's website. We enjoy an active prayer ministry in our class and we actively explore a variety of ways to deepen our Christian walks.
